The undergraduate human services (HMSV) program provides all of the courses in its curriculum via TELETECHNET (TTN). This method is a two-way audio-video for students. Students can see and hear the instructor from a monitor in a classroom and can participate in class discussion or ask questions through available microphones at all of its TTN sites. The HMSV courses are broadcast throughout the state of Virginia at most of the community colleges, as well as in locations in Arizona, Washington state, and Georgia.
IMPORTANT CHANGE: PLESE NOTE THAT COURSES WILL NO LONGER BE OFFERED VIA TELETECHNET BEGINNING SUMMER 2014. COURSES WILL STRICTLY BE OFFERED LIVE ON MAIN CAMPUS OR ONLINE.
The human services program has developed web-based instruction for all of its courses. This allows students to take courses asynchronously, or at a time that is convenient to students rather than set days/times. These web-based courses provide more flexible course scheduling to accommodate a student' work schedule. The online program launched Spring, 2012.

TTN COURSE OFFERING CHANGE
Beginning Fall 2012, HMSV 440W and HMSV 441 are no longer co-requisites or taught in hybrid format. HMSV 440W is a PRE-requisite to 441. Students must plan to complete 440W prior to taking 441. Also, HMSV 468 is no longer offered via TTN. It is strictly an online class.
