Program Assessment: Mentor

Mentor program statement: Due to budgetary constraints, the Commonwealth Special Education Endorsement Program (CSEEP) grant will be unable to continue to support the mentoring component of the program.  We feel that the support provided by our mentors to new teachers and grant participants has been invaluable and we hope the relationships formed by participants and mentors will continue.

This decision means that there will be no payment for mentor observations or pre/post task assessments.  Further, mentor applications will no longer be required for entry into the CSEEP grant.  We will, however, continue to provide letters documenting past mentoring efforts for possible recertification points. We want to thank all of our mentors for their important contributions to the CSEEP program and everything they have done for CSEEP participants.
