Lab 134

Location: Room 134, Education Building

System Configuration:

20 Student Workstations and one Instructor machine.All are Gateway E4500D, with 3.2GHZ Pentium processor and 1GB RAM, with Windows XP Pro operating system.

Software:

Microsoft Office 2000, Apple Works 5,GhostView, Inspiration 8, Internet Explorer, MARC Magician, SPSS 15 for Windows, Sametime connect, Adobe Acrobat 6, Host Explorer, Hyper Studio, Virus Scan, QuickTime Player, Ultimate Zip, WS_ftp, X_Win 32 5.1.

Electronic Aids:

Networked HP Laser Jet 4000 printer.Flatbody scanner on Instructor machine.

Eligibility:

All students, staff and faculty members can access lab resources but printing facility is made available to students from the Education Department.

Reservation:

Lab 134 reservations must be received two weeks in advance of request. Instructors are required to contact Dr. Rick Overbaugh (roverbau@odu.edu) to request a reservation.
