Dr. Tami C. Al-Hazza, Associate Professor of Language, Literacy & Culture

Dr. Tami C. Al-Hazza, Associate Professor of Language, Literacy & Culture, specializes in reading and language arts.  She has over a decade of experience teaching kindergarten through grade six both as an elementary school teacher and as a reading specialist.  Her experience includes teaching in American schools and teaching extensively in the Middle East.  She has also taught for numerous years at Kuwait University.  Her research interests include new literacies and introducing Middle East literature into the classroom.
