The Master's of Education Book Club

The MSED BOOK CLUB is specifically targeted to current students in the master's of Elementary/Middle School Education program.

The MSED BOOK CLUB is designed to:

  1. Familiarize you with the best children's/young adult and professional literature related to the elementary/middle school teaching.
  2. Create a community of professional preservice and inservice teachers
  3. Carry out community service projects like the Virginia Children's Festival (October 2007)
  4. Provide information about program requirements like the comprehensive examination.
  5. Provide information about scholarship and job opportunities.

However, the BOOK CLUB needs YOUR involvement!

The MSED BOOK CLUB is in its infancy.  It will need leaders and members, like you, to make it truly work!

All admitted MSED students are welcome to attend both types of meetings:  on-campus or TTN.

Upcoming dates:
MSED BOOK CLUB meetings on August 2 (TTN) and August 9 (ON-CAMPUS).
