In collaboration with the Norfolk Public Schools, children with developmental disabilities participate in a joint laboratory experience with students in the Introduction to Therapeutic Recreation course.  The college students work individually with children using a variety of adapted recreational activities to improve physical, cognitive and social skills and behaviors.
