Advising
All students are required to make an advising appointment with a full-time RTS Program faculty member prior to registering for any courses. Each student will be provided with a Self-Advising Checklist Form so that at any given time, he or she will know what courses have been accepted and what courses will still need to be taken for graduation.Undergraduate student majors must successfully pass the University Exit Examination of Writing Proficiency before they enroll into their agency internship. Graduate student majors are strongly encouraged to successfully pass the Comprehensive Examination before they enroll into their thesis, research project, or internship option.
Undergraduate Course Requirements:
I. General Education 50 credit hours
II. Professional Core 33 credit hours
III. Career Emphasis 21 credit hours
IV. Internship 16 credit hours
TOTAL: 120 credit hours
Graduate Course Requirements:
I. Core Courses 30 credit hours
II. Thesis, Research Project, or Internship 6 credit hour TOTAL: 36 credit hours
Self-Advising Checklist Forms and curriculum sheets can be picked up from the Department of ESPER Main Office, Room 140 in the Health and Physical Education Building or from a RTS full-time faculty member.
