DR. EDDIE HILL completed his doctoral studies in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Studies at the University of Utah. Dr. Hill defended his dissertation on March 6, 2004! Dr. Hill has been hired as an Assistent Professor in the Recreation and Tourism Studies Program at Old Dominion University!
AUTUMN FREDERICK is working as a recreation therapist for the City of Chesapeake Community Services Board in the Coastal Clubhouse day program.
KINDRA STANCIL began pursuing her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Temple University Fall 2003.
CINDY HUGHS is working on her masters degree in Counseling at Old Dominion University.
JENNIFER TRAXLER WALK, M.S., recently graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Master of Science degree in College Student Affairs. Currently, Jennie is working at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois (the fastest growing community college in Illinois).
JEANNE WALKER, M.S.Ed., completed her Masters of Science Degree in Recreation at Southern Illinois University. Jeanne defended her masters thesis summer 2003! Congratulations Jeanne!

Marriages: REBBECCA STOHLMAN WINN was married in May 2005 and is living in Alexandria Virginia.
KATIE VOHAR CATEN married her highschool sweetheart and moved to Texas in 2000. She and her husband are moving to Oregon in April 2003.
JAYMEE BURROUGHS is now Mrs. Jaymee Burroughs Kannan. Currently, Jaymee is happily married, living in North Carolina and expecting her second child.
ALISON ASHCROFT HOSHAW was married to Mr. David W. Hoshaw in April 2002. She is now the proud stemother of two boys, ages 5 and 7 years.Deaths:
DR. PATRICK TOW, Chair of the Exercise Science, Sport, Physical Education, and Recreation Department, passed away on August 17, 2002. He is greatly missed by both faculty and students.
RICHARD RITCHIE LOVELL, Athletic Director for the Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation Department was killed in a car accident on April 2, 2002.
