ESSE 513- Human Growth and Develoment (3)- course will no longer be offered at graduate level after Fall 2008. Students will still be required to fulfill Human Growth and Development requirement for degree and licensure.

ECI 657 Language Arts, ECI 658 Math, ECI 659 Science, or ECI 662 Social Studies- Methods (Corresponding Course for Certification area (3) (6 for middle school)

ECI (ESSE) 568- Language Acquisition and Reading for Students with Diverse Learning Needs (3)

ECI 619- Classroom Research and Assessment in Curriculum and Instruction (3)

ECI 583- Practicum Seminar for Student Teaching (1)- must be completed prior to semester of student teaching.

ECI 669- Internship/Student Teaching  and Seminar (content area requirement must be met) (6)

*The Military Career Transition Program is a state approved teacher education masters with licensure program. Students must complete all requirements (this includes student teaching) in order to be considered a completer of the approved program. Students who do not complete all components of the approved program as outlined on their program of study (content review and graduate course program plan), are considered non-program completers or exiters and ODU is unable to sign off stating licensure program was completed on any state licensure/certification request form.
