Human Growth and Development

This course explores all aspects of development from birth through adolescence and beyond. Within each stage of development, students examine the areas of language, cognition, social emotional growth, and physical health. Emphasis is on the dynamic forces influencing growth and change so that students will have a better understanding of the areas of human development (ODU catalog 2004-2006, 270).
