Registering for the comprehensive examination

• Request Form to take the Comprehensive Examination
  
  Spring Semester:  Submit the Request Form by January 15, if you are taking the Comprehensive Exam in the spring semester.  The comprehensive exam will normally be administered the last Saturday in February. Follow the instructions on the form.
  If you are at a distance learning MCTP site or at *Other Location, you may be authorized to take the comprehensive examination the week prior to the designated date.
  
  Fall Semester:  Submit the Request Form by August 15, if you are taking the Comprehensive Exam in the fall semester.  The comprehensive exam will normally be administered the last Saturday in September.  Follow the instructions on the form.
  If you are at a distance learning MCTP site or at *Other Location, you may be authorized to take the comprehensive examination the week prior to the designated date.
