Graduate Programs in the Department of STEM Education and Professional Studies

The Department of STEM Education and Professional Studies is an academic leader in graduate studies related to career and technical education teaching (including marketing education and technology education), instructional design and technology, community college teaching, and human resources training. It offers the M.S., M.S. Ed., and the Ph.D. in Education degrees. The department also offers post-baccalaureate endorsement programs. Due to changing University requirements, national accreditation standards, and Commonwealth licensure regulations, the programs in the Darden College of Education are under constant revision. Any changes resulting from these factors supersede the program requirements described in the catalog and this website. The following graduate programs are offered:
