Endorsement Program in Vocational Evaluation
The endorsement program in vocational evaluation is designed to prepare applicants to be endorsed as a vocational evaluator for employment in Virginia public schools.
Admission
Prior to entering this program students must have or be working toward a masters degree in career and technical education evaluation, vocational education, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or related area. Secondly, they must be interviewed and accepted by the program coordinator.
Exit
Students must (1) complete the following courses: OTED 550, OTED 603, OTED 604, OTED 606, and (2) earn a 3.00 cumulative grade point average. Twelve hours of 500/600 level courses may be applied toward the Master of Science in occupational and technical studies, middle and secondary teaching concentration.
