Seeing Italy Before or After the Institute: Since round trip airfare from the United States to Rome's Fiumicino Airport is individually arranged, participants may travel to Italy early and join the group in Rome or Reggello.  Participants may also stay over after the institute ends if they wish to further explore Rome or other parts of Italy or Europe.  For those who may be traveling to Europe for the first time, stays after rather than before the conference are recommended because it will be easier to travel once participants have become accustomed to international travel and the Italian culture.
