The Principal's Center of Hampton Roads is a consortium of K-12 schools in the Hampton Roads area. Specifically, the membership consists of approximately 300 public and private elementary and secondary schools in the fifteen municipalities that comprise the region know as Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Although the central mission of the Center is to serve the professional needs of principals and headmasters, membership is by school, not by individual. Therefore, the Center's activities are open to any individuals who work in a member school. The Center sponsors a series of programs each school year on topics of current relevance to educators, particularly those who are in decision-making positions. For example, during the 1997-98 school year, the Center sponsored informational sessions related to the new state accountability requirements for teachers and students.

The dues for membership in the Center are $20 per year per school. In almost every instance, the division superintendents pays the dues of each principal. The Center is governed by a board of directors consisting of principals from each of the school divisions represented, as well as a representative from the independent schools in the region. A faculty member in the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling at Old Dominion University serves as the Center's Faculty Advisor. All official records of the Center are housed in the Center's office.

The Principal's Center of Hampton Roads is a member of the International Network of Principal's Centers.
