  New Reading Assessment:  The Reading for Virginia Educators (RVE) will be implemented July 1, 2011 by the Virginia Board of Education.  Read carefully the new information.
   
  Virginia Reading Assessment (VRA)
  The Virginia Reading Assessment will be discontinued effective June 30, 2011.  Individuals who have achieved a passing score on the VRA will not be required to take the new RVE assessment required for licensure.
